More about e*thirteen Rims

Flux rims set a new standard for gravity performance, and pair perfectly with our Sidekick Hub technology. The low-profile concave design absorbs impacts and filters vibration before it reaches you, with up to 33% more angular compliance than best-in-class, delivering better traction and control at speed while cutting fatigue on long descents. BikeRadar said "e*thirteen has done a great job of balancing precision with comfort." Testpilot said riders were "safer, faster and more relaxed."

Flux comes in section heights tuned for each discipline, from Trail to DH. All share a 30mm inner width and front/rear-specific tuning, with the same Flux compliance front and rear, and rear rims rated to a higher ASTM category for the loads they take.

Three tiers cover every build. Flux Pro Carbon uses high-modulus fiber with discipline-specific layups. Flux Pro Aluminum uses welded 6069-AL for proven performance. Flux Aluminum uses the same 6069-AL with a sleeved joint at a lower price.

Grappler Race rims offer a traditional profile for riders who prefer maximum stiffness over compliance. World Cup-proven durability in carbon and alloy, including e*spec E-MTB builds, at 30mm inner width.

Piedmont and XCX gravel rims bring MTB durability to drop bars. Piedmont's 26mm inner width accommodates wider gravel tires. XCX at 24mm keeps things light for mixed-surface racing. Both feature hookless tubeless security.

Every carbon rim is covered for life by e*thirteen's Infinite Ride Warranty, including crashes. Flux Pro Aluminum is covered for life against rim failures, with discounted crash replacement. All other alloy rims carry 10 years against defects. Hookless flanges across the range for set-and-forget tubeless reliability.
